Get to Know Cally Prunty, MD

Dr. Cally Prunty is an enthusiastic and compassionate physician who enjoys providing comprehensive care to all of her patients. She enjoys managing patients with complex needs and has a special interest in preventative medicine, newborn care, and asthma management.

Why did you choose pediatrics?

I chose pediatrics because kids amaze me! Children have such great energy, infectious smiles, and fun personalities. I smile and laugh every day I am at work and I feel privileged to take part in watching these incredible kids grow and mature. I enjoy being able to take care of children throughout all stages of early life and development.

What do you enjoy most about Southdale Pediatrics?

I work with a great group of pediatricians and staff who value patient care and pediatric health above all else.

What do you like to do for fun?

I love being outdoors: hiking, traveling and spending time at the cabin with my family and Benny (our sweet, lovable golden retriever).

What is your favorite place to visit in Minnesota?

The North Shore – we love backpacking along the Superior Hiking Trail!
