Walk-In Strep Clinic
For your convenience, Southdale Pediatrics is pleased to offer a walk-in clinic at which a test for strep throat will be performed. An appropriate antibiotic will be prescribed if the test is positive.
Please note the following details of this clinic:
- Available at our Edina and Burnsville offices.
- No appointment is required.
- Walk-in visits are with the lab. Please schedule an appointment if you wish to see a physician.
- For established patients of Southdale Pediatrics
(patients who have been previously seen by
one of our physicians or our nurse practitioner).
- For children and adolescents ages 3 and above.
- In operation from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday
through Friday.
- Any patient who has already had two positive
strep tests in the last three months is required
to make an appointment with a physician
instead. Please call one of our offices and
speak with a nurse advisor to schedule such an
appointment.
