The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends regular well child check-ups during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is especially important for children due for immunizations. Here’s what we’re doing to protect your family when you visit our office:
All patients who are being seen for well visits, chronic care or medication checks, or acute visits where your child does not have COVID symptoms should check in at our front desk. When you make your appointment, one of our nurses or schedulers will ask if you child has any COVID symptoms. If they are, you will be asked to call our office from your car when you are in our parking lot. Our front desk staff will check you in and you will be roomed directly from the car, bypassing our waiting room.
If your child is ill on the day of their check-up, please call our office as we will ask you to check in from the car when you arrive, bypassing our waiting room.
We are screening all patients and caregivers upon entry to our clinics for fever and symptoms of COVID-19. If your child is ill, you will be asked to reschedule.
We ask all visitors over the age of 2 to wear a face mask. If you do not have a mask, we will provide you with one.
We want to continue being your trusted resource to take care of your family Please reach out to us with any questions that you have!
